History
- During the 1800s, the Mini Bull Terrier (the white variation) was developed by crossing a Bulldog with an Old English Terrier and a Spanish Pointer.
- Originally, these small dogs were bred to fight.
- The color variation of this breed was developed by crossing them with the brindle Staffordshire.
- Seemingly, the colored varieties were bred as guard dogs and watch dog. In addition, they were used to kill rats.
- This breed was first recognized by the AKC in 1991.
