  • They are a mix between the Fox Hound, the Beagle, the Dachshund, and the English Hound.

  • The Smooth Fox Terrier is basically the same breed as the Wire Fox Terrier (The difference resides in the coat types).

  • These dogs were bred primarily to hunt fox and kill vermin.

  • This small dog was first recognized by the AKC in 1885.
